Actually they're not platform-games. Although "Mazogs" is splendid, it's still a labyrinth-game (without gravity).
Thx for reminding it 'though.

I will play it soon.
Also the 3D Monster Maze is a labyrinth-game (however it's a 3D game).
>Manic Miner of course!

Ah. Good point. Difficult like f*ck but surely an excellent example of platform-game. Canonical, I could say.
Anybody else knows such a game?
Hm. Actually I thought there are more of them. ZX Spectrum for instance is "strong with such games", heh.
>I have to admit I had not seen either of those two games - donwload links would be appreciated!

Sure thing, man, lemme serve You -
http://zx81.ordi5.free.fr/andre/download/YoogorE.zip(it's not very fast BUT it's not a disadvantage, as the game is more like adventure (logical?) platorm stuff. Also animation of the main hero is like from Prince of Persia.
http://pouet.net/prod.php?which=51823That platform stuff is more 'arcade' - fast and assembler-made.
Enjoy!
